MaryLou is proud to announce she is represented by Ritu Anand of D4EO Literary Agency. As a debut author of Domestic Suspense, MaryLou grew up devouring Nancy Drew books and Agatha Christie mysteries, and is excited about her journey to get her novel into the hands of fellow suspense readers.
When she’s not writing fiction, you can find MaryLou on the tennis court, curled up with a good book, or tending to her menagerie of pets: a sleek senior black cat, Curious George; a cuddly but feisty rescue kitten, Tito; and two silly Guinea pigs, Miso and Mochi, who do tricks for their salad every morning. She lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
MaryLou is an award-winning broadcast and print journalist with a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, and a Penn State graduate. (Go Nittany Lions!) She is a member of several writing-related organizations: Sisters in Crime, Women’s Fiction Writers Association, Pennwriters, and the Authors Guild. She is a dedicated member of two writing critique groups, one of which has been together five years.
